Who you are buying from
Preeya Art is a one-person studio in Thailand. Every piece offered here is painted or drawn by Preeya herself. Writing to us through this site, by email or by message all reach the same person.
The work itself
Each original is one of a kind, made by hand, and will carry the small variations that come with that. Photographs are taken as faithfully as we can manage, but colour and texture do shift between screens, so treat the images as a close guide rather than an exact match.
Prices and payment
Prices are in Thai baht and include the piece itself, not delivery or framing unless it says so. A painting is held for you once payment has been received and confirmed; until then it stays available to everyone else.
Commissions
A commission starts with a quote and a deposit, usually half the agreed price, with the balance due before delivery. You will see the work at a few stages along the way and can ask for changes within the brief you agreed. Once painting has begun the deposit covers work already done and is not refundable, though we will always try to find a way through if something has gone wrong.
Delivery
Within Thailand work travels by Grab, by courier, or is handed over in person. Shipping further afield is possible and quoted separately. Once a piece has been handed to you or to the courier, responsibility for it passes to you, so please open and check it on arrival.
If something arrives damaged
Tell us within seven days of delivery, with photographs of the piece and its packaging, and we will repair, replace or refund it. Beyond that, because originals are made to order and one of a kind, they are not returnable simply for a change of mind.
Copyright
Buying a painting gives you the painting. Preeya keeps the copyright and the right to photograph, exhibit and reproduce the image, including showing it in this archive after it has sold. If you would like to reproduce the work yourself, ask — it is usually fine, in writing.
Your details
We keep your name, contact details and order history only to make and deliver your order and to answer you afterwards. They are not sold or passed on to anyone beyond the delivery and payment services the order needs.
Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated, and the version in force is the one published here on the day you order. Thai law applies, and we would far rather settle anything that comes up by talking first.
